I am in Hebron, Kentucky in a hotel room writing this. On Tuesday, my family and I drove to Tennesee to pick up some of our closest cousins. We spent the night there and then left early on Wednesday morning to drive to this hotel and go to the Creation Museum built by Answers in Genesis. Since my PowerShot A620 was stolen a while ago at the SAICFF, Tyler and Amy took oodles of photographs. Tyler got a new camera from Sanyo—that waterproof one. It is spiffy, but even though the resolution matched my PowerShot, the compression is high, and it looks... not-so-great when "actual-sized."
Anyway, those pictures will not be on here, but they exist, so the Creation Museum is real! It is no figment of your imagination. It is a history museum that takes you through the entire story of the Bible up to today using Biblical history, not macroevolution. Since we donated to help the museum (to be paid for in cash,) we saw our name on a huge plaque. I might post that picture in a later edit here if I can get it off of my phone which has all data transfers disabled. I cannot do anything with the internet, e-mail, or texts, so I'll have to find my Micro SD card adapter.
From here, we will be traveling to Indianapolis, Illinois to hear a homeschool leadership conference. I know not exactly what to expect. We will be leaving here at 11:00 a.m. (10:00 CST for most of you reading this) to retreive Richard Smith from our church. His kids are in Maximum Pelt. He will be going to the conference with us.
I hit two new states on this trip. I only have 30-something to go.
In Christ,
Adam
P.S. We are an hour ahead here, but by the time we get back, spring forward will have already happened (Saturday)! Therefore we had a week to make the switch while driving!
