Early last year, I mentioned that I was going to journal each day to remind myself of the things I should be thankful for.  After writing down a condensed version of each day's events to help me think through everything, I would then write down the thing I was most thankful that day that I had not written down on a previous day.  I thought I'd post my list of 365.242199 things.

The way I usually came up with each thing is I would pick out the least pleasant part of my day, and thank God for what was missing from it.  The best reminder of having something is losing it.  There is a break between every 50.

Alright, I didn't quite get to my goal because I had a few duplicates on some days.  I could certainly add them now, but I wanted to just use what I wrote down last year.
