The Web site has been quiet since Asher's Elven, but my brain surely has not been!  After the SAICFF, I've been itching for something to do.  The film quality there is almost incredible.  If I had not known the winner personally, I would have thought he had robbed a bank to get the funding for it!  Well, the funds required to really professionally make something jarred me back to reality.  Feature films are a long way away in my current situation.

I have been learning a lot with a new video project called Survivor Guy.  It's coming along quite sluggishly, yet it is turning out astonishingly well.  It has been shot on four separate days so far, and that mainly because of the weather required.  There may have been one or two other projects where shooting physically took more than one day's time, but I cannot recall from the tip of my mind which they may have been.

The first four minutes of Survivor Guy have been completed as far as can be with an incomplete project.  Eight people outside of my family have seen this part thus far: 1 in California, 1 in New Mexico, 1 in Illinois, 1 in New York, 1 in Brazil, and 3 in Texas.  It helps dramatically to have a wider, pre-screening critique audience, especially with people in different cultures!  Anyway, this project is approximately halfway completed, and I hope to finish it sometime this month or early March.  The fellows who watched it and have seen others of my work say....  Actually, I'll just let you see how you like it when it's made available.  Who knows?  I may just decide to make you buy something first.

Many other things are going smoothly—school, piano, swimming, ice cream, et cetera.  I am still working up a performance program for my high school senior recital and would tremendously appreciate your prayers for my relearning of a few tough songs.

My brother and I are finally coming together in a video business.  The Web site is complete as far as not having done anything as the company as of late, but we're working on setting up the final details of our first interview.  You can look at it here: www.nextgenerationvideoproductions.com  This product will be made available for sale.
